Gatim impreuna #deladistanta /We cook together #fromdistance

Salut,

I will try an English version now, I hope I won’t make many language mistakes. My native language it’s a Romance language (like French, Italian, Portuguese etc) so it’s quite different from English πŸ™‚ .

We cook together #fromdistance

Hi,

I don’t know how do you feel during this pandemic, but for me the evolution of the mood is like a coiled snake, with ups and downs. Some things seem positive to me such as the fact that I don’t have to wake up early and run to the office and school and the shopping is delivered at home or that I spent more time than ever in the garden and otherwise the garden was never so clean :). And various ideas came to me.
Other things are negative … starting with the news in the media, continuing with the evolution of the charts by regions, with the fact that you can’t move too much or that you haven’t met your family and friends for X months, with uncertainty regarding the evolution of this virus, with home schooling (in Dutch), with the preparatory class that you also have to start at home (and also in Dutch), and … I could go on. But that’s not why I’m writing this post. There are many people who give their opinion about this period and about the virus – I leave it to you to decide between them. And I know that each of you lives this period in your own style, as you can.

I like to cook. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t … but I don’t give up. Of all the things I cook, about 3-5% I publish and the rest is for my family.
Besides, I like to travel and discover new places, to feel every place I visit and to taste the local specialties, to mix through the crowd of traditional markets or small shops or to visit ruins and narrow streets, always with the photo camera by me ✌.

So, in these times when we have to reposition ourselves depending on the context, times when I often miss those close to me and the pleasure of talking to someone, an idea came to me that I hope will come to life. I thought of making a culinary trip to distant places with friends and to publish recipes and pictures or stories sent by them. Sounds good doesn’t it?

So stay tuned it will be interesting!
