Caracatita in sos de rosii si vin la slow cooker

Ingrediente (pentru 6 persoane):
– 800 g caracatita
– o ceapa tocata marunt
– 5 catei de usturoi
– 400 g rosii decojite si taiate cubulete
– 150-200 ml apa/supa de peste
– 150-200 ml vin rosu
– 75 g masline Kalamata
– o lingurita de cimbru maruntit
– ulei de masline
– un buchetel de patrunjel tocat marunt
– sare
– piper

Mod de preparare:

Curatati caracatita si taiati tentaculele in bucati de aproximativ 3-6 cm lungime. Fierbeti timp de 2 minute pentru a elimina toxinele din carne apoi scoateti caracatita din apa si lasati deoparte.

Intr-o tigaie caliti ceapa si usturoiul in ulei de masline pana se rumenesc apoi adaugati caracatita, maslinele si rosiile si mai dati un clocot. Condimentati dupa gust cu sare si piper apoi turnati continutul in oala de slow cooker, adaugati vinul, apa/supa de peste, cimbrul si maslinele.
Omogenizati compozitia si acoperiti oala. Gatiti la optiunea ‘high’ timp de 3 ore.

Cand este gata garnisiti cu patrunjel tocat si serviti cu garnitura de orez sau paine prajita.

Slow cooked octopus with tomatoes and red wine sauce

Ingredients – for 6 portions:

  • 800 g octopus
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 400 g peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 150-200 ml water / fish soup
  • 150-200 ml of red wine
  • 75 g olives Kalamata
  • a teaspoon of chopped thyme
  • olive oil
  • a bunch of finely chopped parsley
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions:

Peel the octopus and cut the tentacles into pieces about 3-6 cm long. Boil for 2 minutes to remove toxins from the meat then remove the octopus from the water and set aside.

In a frying pan, fry the onion and garlic in olive oil until golden brown, then add the octopus, olives and tomatoes and bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper then pour the contents into the slow cooker pot, add the wine, water / fish soup, thyme and olives.
Homogenize the composition and cover the pot. Cook on the ‘high’ option for 3 hours.

When ready, garnish with chopped parsley and serve with rice garnish or toast.
