Sos de arahide

Acest sos este o versiune home-made a sosului satay; am servit cu diverse ocazii acest sos alaturi de frigarui sau de carne la gratar insa de fiecare data era sos din plic…sau din borcan. Asa ca am gasit o modalitate mai sanatoasa de a-l prepara acasa.

 Ingrediente (organice):
– 2 linguri cu varf de unt de arahide organic, fara zahar
– sucul de la 1 lamaie
– 1 lingura sos de soia tamari fara gluten
– 1 lingura de boia de ardei (optional boia de ardei iute)
– 1 lingura de sirop de agave
– sare
– 2 linguri de ulei de masline
– 1 lingurita de ienibahar macinat
– putina apa pentru a subtia compozitia

Mod de preparare:

Amestecati prima data untul de arahide cu sucul de lamaie, uleiul de masline si sosul de soia. Adaugati restul ingredientelor si amestecati pana compozitia devine cremoasa si se deschide la culoare. Adaugati apa pentru a subtia putin.
Sosul nu trebuie sa fie foarte lichid, insa untul de arahide are tendinta de a se ingrosa pe masura ce se amesteca. Ceea ce rezulta trebuie sa aiba consistenta unui piure.

Se serveste cu frigarui de tofu (vezi reteta aici) sau frigarui de carne (vezi reteta aici).

Peanut sauce

This sauce is a home-made version of satay sauce; I served this sauce on various occasions with skewers or grilled meat, but every time it was sauce from a bag…or from a jar. So I found a healthier way to prepare it at home.

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons of organic peanut butter, without sugar
– the juice of 1 lemon
– 1 tablespoon gluten-free tamari soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon of paprika (hot pepper optional)
– 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
– salt
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 teaspoon of ground allspice
– a little water to thin the composition

Directions:

First mix the peanut butter with the lemon juice, olive oil and soy sauce. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until the composition becomes creamy and lightens in color. Add water to thin it a little.
The sauce should not be very liquid, but the peanut butter tends to thicken as it is mixed. What results must have the consistency of a puree.
